Club and Societies

THE HERRICK The Herrick is the school's English Literature Society. We discuss the kind of literature, which not only supports the core A Level texts, but also broadens students' knowledge of writers and texts that they are unlikely to have come across in the course of studying English in the classroom. Our aim is to create highly cultured and impressive individuals who, when they apply to university, can demonstrate real independent scholarship. Although primarily a Sixth Form society, we welcome anyone who has an interest in developing their literary interests and who is considering taking English Literature at A Level.
