Invigilators (Casual)

MTS has a pool of invigilators engaged on a casual basis, who support the school predominantly in the Spring and Summer Term. We are always keen to hear from individuals who feel they have some time and would like to support our students through the stressful part of their academic career; whilst some experience is preferable, it is not a requirement. If you would like to express an interest in invigilating at the school and join our register of casual workers, please email the Head of Examinations, Anjali Manek (NMA@mtsn.org.uk). Please be aware that recruitment for this role usually takes place between May and September.

Successful candidates will be engaged on a casual worker contract and paid for the hours worked on a monthly basis. You must be available to work at least 6 slots during the Spring term and 10 slots during the Autumn term, where this is a requirement.

Benefits

Individuals on our register of casual workers benefit from use of access to the school's on-site sports and school grounds facilities, onsite parking, staff common room and free school lunch and refreshments during term time when the School Catering department is operating.

Visiting Music Teachers (Self-Employed Contractor)

There are currently a number of Visiting Music Teachers who use the school's facilities to provide music tuition to our pupils. Visiting Music Teachers (VMTs) are self-employed and the contract for provision of lessons is between parents and the VMT, where they invoice the parents directly. VMT Service Agreements and arrangements for instrumental lessons are managed by the Director of Music who acts as an agent in making the contractual arrangements with parents.

There may also be opportunities to work with Co-Curricular ensembles in rehearsals and concerts.

Please email the Director of Music, Mr Simon Couldridge (SC@mtsn.org.uk), to enquire if there are any potential opportunities in addition to any that are currently being advertised below.
